Our Rabbi

Rabbi Elisha Weiss grew up in Woodmere, New York and graduated from HAFTR Elementary School. He attended MTA (Yeshiva University High School for Boys) and then learned in Israel at Yeshivat Kerem B’Yavneh. He graduated from Yeshiva College with a Bachelor’s of Art in History and then earned a Master’s Degree in Jewish Education from the Azrieli Graduate School of Yeshiva University (YU). Rabbi Weiss’s Semicha was obtained from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary at YU.

Rabbi Weiss has been a Rebbe at Westchester Day School for over 15 years, he was the Rabbi of the Young Israel of Pelham Parkway for seven years before joining MYMPJC in 2008. Rabbi Weiss is currently a Rebbe at the Hebrew Academy of Five Towns and Rockaway (HAFTR)

Rabbi Weiss is married to Elisheva Stimler and they have three children, Meir, Adina and Avigail Shira.
